Lisa created Veda Yoga Therapy in 2008, with the vision to educate other women who may be facing issues such as anxiety, depression and eating disorders, which she had experienced in her own life.
Her credentials include C-IAYT (certified yoga therapist) in 2017, a certified iRest Yoga Nidra Meditation teacher in 2012, a Reiki Master in 2005 and holds a certificate in nutrition in 2007.
She has also been a certified massage therapist since 1999.
Her deep respect for the body’s innate wisdom to heal and the belief no one should live in pain, motivates her to create new online courses, along with working one on one with women. Lisa's hobby is cooking and she loves to create new healthy recipes that support women's health and wellbeing.

Reiki & Massage Therapy
Reiki is a form of alternative therapy commonly termed as energy healing. Energy healing has been used for centuries in various forms. Advocates say it works with the energy fields around the body. Although energy healing may seem a bit “out there” and difficult to understand, we actually experience it every day all day long. We are so much more than our bodies, if that were not true we would be a walking bag of bones. We are made of energy, at the core of each of our cells is energy. Energy or life force is truly what we are and because of this we have the ability to use our energy to heal our body, minds and spirits.

iRest Yoga Nidra
iRest Yoga Nidra meditation is an accessible form of meditation for everyone. I have taught iRest to children as well as adults. iRest is a mindfulness meditation where we learn to meet, greet and be with whatever arises in our thoughts, feelings and emotions.
